Dress-up Diva

Isebelle still loves to put on other peoples shoes.  Here she's wearing a pair of Mommy's high heels.  She loves to hear the click, click, click of the heels when she goes into the kitchen where there is linoleum.  I have a little video of this below...

We came across Isebelle's sunglasses the other day and of course we had to put them on...add the hat or the headband from her spring pictures and we get some really cute pictures!!

The Springtime Pictures!!

I went and picked up the CD from Heritage Photography last night.  The photographer did a fabulous job!  I'm going to have a tough time deciding what pictures I really want!!
Here are a few of my favorites...

I had to try to make one black and white and then add some color back in.  I think it turned out really cool...and it was super easy!

Ready for Spring!!

Yesterday we took Isebelle to Heritage Photography Inc in Lakeville to have her picture taken with some baby animals.  What fun that was!  Isey really enjoyed herself too!  They let me video tape the photo session, so I'm able to give you a sneak peak of the animals...  I'm not sure which she liked the best.  She was very happy to play with all of the animals!  As you see in the pictures, she even got to bottle feed a lamb!  I was worried she'd get scared doing this, but she thought it was rather funny that the lamb was drinking from a bottle.  I can't wait to see the pictures the photographer took!!

The rabbits were great!  One of them even crawled up inside her dress!  The white bunny got rather freaked out when Isey flipped him right off the bench they were sitting on!  Poor little thing.  Fortunately, Joe, Isey's Dad was there to save the little guy.

We had gotten a helmet with a bike trailer we got last summer and Isey decided she needed to try it on to see if she could wear it.  It's a little big yet, but she had fun playing with it.
Nicole bought Isey a pair of heels to go with one of the dresses for the photo shoot.  She was having fun dancing around in the kitchen while wearing them.  She really loves her shoes...and other peoples shoes too!

Happiness is...

... Isebelle!

Nicole got this awesome hat for Isebelle at the State Fair - it is so cute on her!  I love the little braids!  Now that she's used to wearing hats, maybe she'll keep her Easter hat on for pictures!

Since Isey was too small for the bike yet, Brett decided to get out the tricycle we got for her last year; he was sure she'd be able to reach the pedals.  Not yet, but oh so close!!

Cinderella plus a new baby!!

Isey is working very hard on her laptop that she got from great-great aunt Carol.  We programmed it so that it says her name and spells her name!  Lots of great sounds and music on this laptop!

We got Isey a Dora bike off of Craigslist!  She's very excited about it and can't wait to ride it by herself!!  She never wants to get off of it; we just kept pushing her around...until WE got worn out!  Although she did decide that her doll wanted to go for a ride yesterday, so she asked me to get her off, put the doll on the seat, and proceeded to push the bike.
Too cute!

I look at these pictures and think Cinderella...before her fairy godmother transformed her of course!  She looks like she's been cleaning.  She found this bandanna that I got when I was at Lake Tahoe and kept putting it on her head.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NEW BABY!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm a great aunt again!!  Congratulations to Barry and Lori!!  This is Lincoln David, born Tuesday, March 2nd.  He was 8 pounds even.  I can't wait to see the little guy in person, probably this weekend!!
What does an elephant say??
Nicole told me the other day that Isey can tell you what an elephant says, so I had to try it out the other day and I have to say it was the greatest thing!  I started out with...
"Isey, how big are you?"
Instantly, her arms went up and we all said "SOOOO BIG!"  She clapped her hands together...  I then said,
"What does a dog say?"
"ARF".
"What does a cat say?"
"Meow".
"What does a duck say?"
"Quack-Quack"
"What does an elephant say?"
Here's her answer:
Isey's just kickin' back here:  Her shirt has pizza sauce on it!  She LOVES her pizza!
Isey loves the little doll stroller she got from Great-Great Aunt Shirley.   We had to remove the little tray so she could sit in it...the funny thing is, she now wants us to put it back on when she is sitting in it!!  Oh yes, 2 different socks...Her choice!!  At least they match her outfit!
Isey is so adorable in her TinkerBell pajamas.
Have a GREAT week!
Let's slide!!
Well, I got Isey the slide for $8 and she loves it!!  She has learned how to climb up the steps pretty good.  She's fallen a couple of times, but nothing serious...let's hope it stays that way!!
Here she is with her new slide saying "CHEEEEEEEE".  She looks like she really likes it, doesn't she??
She seems to like to climb up the ladder and then just stand there watching whatever show we have on for her...the Fresh Beat Band...or the Upside Down Show.  She will eventually sit down and slide down.  She doesn't always say weeeeee, often times she sits at the top and says weeee a couple of times and then finally slides down, but not usually while she is sliding.
Here's a little video of her sliding...(I hope this works!)
Isey cracked me up yesterday... when I came downstairs, she was in the entry way and had put my shoes on and was walking around.  This isn't the 1st time she's done this, she's put on a pair of heels in the past.  She walks pretty good in the heels too.  Of course, her feet are a lot smaller and can fit pretty good at the very front of the shoe...and she doesn' have to walk on the balls of her feet.
She had gotten a stroller for her doll at her 1st birthday and I have caught her many times trying to get into the stroller.  Well, she finally figured out how she can sit "in" it...  the picture doesn't show very well how she is actually sitting on it, but she actually looked somewhat comfortable!
Well, that's it for this week.  Sorry it's a little late...the ideas just weren't there until she came over again last night!  Until next time...
